James P. Rohrback, Attorney at Law, made a generous donation to the high school and middle school band in the amount of $2,000.00.  He made this donation in memory of his friend and we are to call it “Sonia’s gift.”  Mr. Rohrback wants the donation to go to needs the band program may have such as music, instrument rentals, etc.

Dennis and Jean Hardie donated a 12 foot Christmas tree to the high school.  We are excited to be able to use this tree for Christmas 2020 once all construction is complete and we will have the perfect spot for it in the high school commons.

The Omak Mirage Theater is showing the movie “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” and we want to take all of our Bridgeport Middle School Students. If you are not familiar with the film it is “a timely story of kindness triumphing over cynicism, based on the true story of a real-life friendship between Fred Rogers and journalist Tom Junod”.   We are scheduled to see the movie on Wednesday December 18th.

The Elementary is having a door decorating contest: Students help decorate their classroom doors.

The Elementary Book Fair is running from Dec 10-17.

The Senior class had presentations by two branches of the military this month- December 2nd (Airforce) and December 10th (Marines). Both branches of the military discussed scholarship opportunities, jobs within the military, apprenticeship programs, how to read student ASVAB results, and the importance of honesty, integrity, and doing the right thing, even when no one is looking.
