  • 5th Math is Cool!

    The 5th grade Math is Cool team competed in Wenatchee against eight other schools in their division on March 17, 2017.  They earned 4th place as a team, and Daniel Trejo earned 1st place as an individual.  They will be competing at the Master's competition (state level) on May 20 in Moses Lake.  Congratulations Bridgeport 5th grade Math is Cool Team!

Middle Level Regional Leadership Conference!

    On Tuesday March 7th, Bridgeport Middle School hosted the Middle Level Regional Leadership Conference (MLR) in partnership with AWSL. There were about 130 students from 7 schools. Our BMS ASB officers along with our 8th grade AVID students worked for the past several weeks to put everything together to make this day successful for all attendees.

    District items of interest:

    The next regularly scheduled school board meeting is April 24, 2017    6:00 pm, Superintendent’s Office.

    TOTAL Average Enrollment  846  (not counting pre-school in these totals)

    HS Graduation is Friday June 2nd

    8th grade promotion will be Tuesday June 6th

    Congratulations! Bridgeport High School is receiving the 2016 Washington Achievement Award.

    Washington Achievement Award winners are selected using the Washington State Achievement Index which is based on statewide assessment data for the three previous years. The award is given in seven categories: Overall Excellence, High Progress, English Language Arts Growth, Math Growth, Extended Graduation Rate, English Language Acquisition, and Achievement Gap. Bridgeport High School is being recognized for:

    Overall Excellence

    Special Recognition Grad

    Ensure rigorous and relevant learning opportunities:

    • Smarter Balance Assessment/Science Measure of Student Progress testing will begin on April 25th.
    • 5th and 6th grade Math is Cool Teams are heading to Masters Competition on May 20th in Moses Lake.
    • Special programs has assisted in putting together several grant applications this past week in the areas of Robotics, MS after school program, and elementary books.  The community foundation will make a site visit on April 20th as a final step in the selection process.  Gear Up was not funded.
