  • Bridgeport School District has increased its Preschool Capacity to Four Classrooms.

    We currently have 20 preschool openings. Students need to have turned 4 years old before August 31st. To register your child for preschool please call the Elementary Office at 509-686-2201.

    PARENT U was created to help guide parents through their child's developmental years while at school so that they can be well informed and prepared on how to answer their child's questions about school experiences and support them with their safety and health while in school.

    Strategic Plan Improvement Goals

    1. Ensure a school culture where every student is respected, safe, academically challenged and engaged.
    2. Ensure rigorous and relevant learning opportunities.
    3. Ensure high quality and effective personnel in all positions.
    4. Ensure strong partnerships with students, families, and community.
    5. Ensure district resources support the strategic plan.

    District items of interest

    • The next regularly scheduled school board meeting is October 30, 2017    6:00 pm, Superintendent’s Office.

    Ensure a school culture where every student is respected, safe, academically challenged and engaged:

    • October 18th is our next early release for professional development.  The training for all staff is ACES training and Suicide Prevention. 
    • Middle School Homecoming Week is scheduled for Oct. 16-20. The Dress up Days are as follows: Monday-Mathlete vs Athlete (dress as an athlete or nerd), Tuesday-Hawaiian Day (appropriate attire for school), Wednesday-Workout Wednesday, Thursday-Costume Day, Friday-Spirit Day (Black and Orange).
