Important Reminder: End of Semester Grades
Dear Middle School Parents,
I hope this message finds you well. As we approach the end of the semester, I wanted to take a moment to remind you about the upcoming deadline for students to improve their grades. The end of the semester is scheduled for Friday, January 26th.
This is a critical time for our students to reflect on their academic progress and make any necessary adjustments. It's an opportunity for them to focus on areas where improvement is needed and take proactive steps to enhance their understanding of the material.
Encourage your child to:
1. Review Assignments: Ensure that all assignments, projects, and assessments have been completed and submitted on time. Missing assignments can significantly impact overall grades.
2. Seek Help: If your child is struggling with specific concepts or topics, encourage them to seek help from teachers, classmates, or even consider tutoring resources available at the school.
3. Create a Study Plan: Help your child create a study plan to effectively manage their time leading up to the end of the semester. This can include setting aside dedicated time for studying each subject.
4. Utilize Resources: Remind your child to make use of any available study materials, textbooks, online resources, and other tools that can aid in comprehension.
5. Communicate with Teachers: If your child is facing challenges, encourage open communication with their teachers. Teachers are here to support their students' success and can provide valuable guidance.
We understand that each student has unique strengths and areas for improvement. By working together, we can ensure that our students finish the semester on a positive note and are well-prepared for the challenges ahead. Please keep in mind that 8th graders in Civics, PNW, or Algebra must pass their class at semester to receive HS credit towards graduation. Otherwise, students will need to retake this semester as 9th graders next year.

🚨Important Winter Reminders🚨 As a winter storm blankets our surrounding area in freezing temperatures, your safety is our top priority. Please make sure you take these steps to stay warm:
1. Layer Up! Bundle in multiple layers for maximum insulation.
2. Cover Up! Don't forget hats and scarves to protect exposed areas.
3. Shield Your Hands! Invest in quality gloves to keep your hands warm.
4. Stay Dry! Ensure outer layers are water-resistant to combat snow and sleet.
Remember, extreme cold requires extreme warmth. Avoid being outside if at all possible. Dress appropriately and stay safe! ❄️

The Annual Jolly Daze Donation Drive has started! The High School students are asking for food, clothing and toy donations. Please check the image for what is allowed to be donated. All donations may be given to a high school student or dropped off at the High School Office.
