🕸️ Spooky Spirit Week – October 20th-24th

Dear Bridgeport School District Parents and Guardians,

Each year, Bridgeport School District administers the Healthy Youth Survey to contribute data that can be used to help improve the health of youth in Washington State. This academic year, the survey will include questions regarding sexual behavior and sexual violence. The survey will take place during the week of October 13-17, 2025 for students in 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th grades only.
It is your right as a parent or guardian to refuse this survey on behalf of your student without retaliation from the schools. Opting out is legal and does not affect students’ academic standing.
If you choose to make this personal decision, you must notify the school in writing by Friday, October 10, 2025 informing them that you ask that your student not take part in the 2025 Healthy Youth Survey. If you approve of your student participating, no further action is required.

We’ve had a few cases of Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease in our district recently.
Quick tip: Keep an eye out for any small blisters or spots on your child’s hands, feet, or around their mouth. If you notice anything unusual, it’s always a good idea to check in with your healthcare provider.
